Great outing for families - small but very high quality exhibits. Spent several enjoyable hours there with 11 year old. A big focus on education and hands on exhibits for the kids. Staff were great - enthusiastic and great at engaging all ages.
very entertaining and educational with guided talks and fish feeding. The tanks feature local marine species like the snowflake eel and gloomy octopus, lionfish, sea cucumbers and many more reef fish. we were there 3 hours , the time went very quickly but was very enjoyable. no cafe on site but there is a gift shop at the entry/exit and is pram/wheelchair friendly. adult admission was $12 each and they are open weekends and every day during nsw school holidays.
Well worth the visit. Very interesting & informative. Good displays of local sea creatures. Small, but adequate. Close, easy parking.
Great aquarium run by Southern Cross University. The staff are very knowledgeable. An unexpected treat!
We visited in the non school holiday period and it was quiet which was great for us. My children got to feed the fish and interact with the kind and informative staff many times. It is not a huge aquarium but there is still much to do here particularly in the kids interactive area.
