I have a 1998 Toyota Camry, just discovered a crack in the top tank of the radiator and phoned up this company for a replacement . After many questions I was quoted $590, I felt this was too much and phoned Toyota Coffs for a price, they quoted me $185.21 for the genuine part. I think $400 for an hours labour is a giant rip off and wouldn't go there again. So be warned, they are sharks and very hungry ones.
Absolutely ludicrous.Took my car which had been fully serviced a couple of months ago in Sydney to Michael for a rego check.Rings and says they are not passing it because all 4 shockers need replacing. $1070 please.I go to another mechanic across the road - they said shockers are absolutely fine (oh but theres an oil leak!).So.. not only did you didnt diagnose an oil leak - instead you want $1070 in order to pass a car? Oh I forgot.. I told you Im not from the area. Lets rip this tourist off.Go to third mechanic (NOT on the same street), passes car within 15 minutes.What does that say about you?Well, probably earning no money in the long run but In the short term, literally swimming in peoples hard earned cash.Will be talking to consumer affairs.Amazing.
