Very dated place - not 4 star property! In need of some real maintenance. So overall disappointing for the price paid. Shower head was loose even after being fixed. Property nothing like the pictures. Advertised with double sofa bed, but given a single bed mattress rollout! Balcony light not working, so couldnt enjoy it. Remote controls needed batteries. Outside light was above air con so not great lighting at night in the courtyard which didnt provide much privacy. Screen sliding door broken and difficult to open/close, needs a handle. Air con only upstairs not downstairs but advertised as having air conditioning. Needed to clean whole house as musty smell when we arrived. Lounge had yoghurt stains on so needed to clean on arrival. Some of the pool lights didnt work. Ants, cockroaches and spiders in bathroom. Needed to go get own toilet paper and fresh towels - no room service. Internet was patchy at best. Wireless didnt work. Beach in resort was ordinary. Pools didnt have clear water. Car park key to open gate was not positioned well, risk hitting/scratching car.
Absolutely beautiful place to stay. The grounds and pools are mind blowingly gorgeous with wildlife everywhere you walk. Great access to the beach. We couldn't have asked for a better room we just loved it the beds are very cosey. From way out in hot dry Lighting ridge to Aanuka Beach Resort just the escape we needed from the drought at home. Lifted our spirits..will be back next year for sure.
Stayed for 3 nights, the location is great and setting is like a rain forest with water dragons and bush turkey everywhere. Staff are very courteous,the rooms are well set-up with all the services you could need including full kitchen and laundry. However the rooms are well worn abd a bit dated. Considering the price you would expect better.
I just had my Christmas holidays, and had to put this review as was disappointed with few things that I thought others should know before booking their holidays,Pos:1. Location is great.2. Staff members friendly Nos:1. The place we stayed had a very dirty floor, my son basically cleaned the floor while using his walker and his shoes turned black which we had to through.2. There is no room service. You need to ask for towels 3. If I knew on my holidays I have to clean the room I wouldnt book the place.4. Not worth the money.
Best value resort in the area. Wide variety of facilities available to guests. The food servings are generous. Great location right next to the beach. Peace of mind with security. Will definitely stay here again!
