It wasn't easy to find the location. We tried 3 times (1st two times they were closed), 3rd time lucky. After all the reviews, we had to give this a go. Ordered fried rice (no, it's not good at all, nothing in it and the taste was below average) chicken & cashew (moderate), gow gee (below average). The food at Harbour Palace at Grafton Street was a lot better (you get a lot more taste and quality for your money) .
Best Chinese on the Coffs Coast I reckon. We had sweet n sour dish and honey chicken which were superb. Big thumbs up.
We were only in Coffs for the night and decided to try this restaurant based on past reviews. We were not disappointed. We ordered dim sims and vegetarian spring rolls which arrived quickly. All cooked nicely. Then came out our fried rice, sweet and sour chicken fritters (the best S and S sauce I have ever tasted) then the fillet steak in Peking sauce which was as fillet steak should be tender and lean and very tasty. Custom seemed to be mainly takeaway but the premises were clean and our host was very friendly. A great find and inexpensive at $59 with three soft drinks. Our only disappointment was that we are not locals as we would make this Chinese restaurant our regular place to eat.
Clean premises, friendly staff and freshly made dishes. Ordered sweet and sour pork, garlic combination and crispy duck. All were tasty but the s + s was the pick.
Was there in Christmas.My husband went there with my daughter and she loved their duck so we went again for takeaway same night.Loved it
